IVAR AQUASTOP
The IVAR Aquastop is a mechanical temperature control device designed for mixed radiator and underfloor heating & cooling systems. It automatically prevents cold water from entering selected circuits during cooling operation, helping eliminate the risk of surface condensation on radiators, towel rails and vulnerable underfloor zones.
Operating without servomotors or electronic controls, Aquastop uses an internal thermostat set at 19°C. Above 19°C (heating mode), the valve remains open. Below 19°C (cooling mode), it closes automatically to stop cold water flow — protecting bathrooms and non-ventilated areas from condensation issues.
Aquastop XL has the same operating principle as Aquastop, with the advantage of being able to handle larger flow rates, thanks to its 1” connection.
Why it suits trade counters:
-
Ideal for mixed heating & cooling system installations
-
Prevents condensation on radiators and towel rails
-
Fully mechanical operation – no wiring or controls required
-
